Requests for new courses

In addition to the currently available courses that are scheduled as part of a public program of training, Murrumbidgee Rural Studies Centre conducts courses in response to requests from particular enterprises, organisations or communities, and conducts other specialist courses for a range of clients. Examples of these courses are Procedures for phytosanitary certification, Landforming, Citrus pruning, Vine canopy management, Laboratory skills, Salinity management, Integrated pest management, and many others.

We have staff specialising in course construction, costing, accreditation and course delivery, and we have access to all the department's research and extension staff. If you believe there exists an area of agriculture or natural resource management which would benefit from training, contact the Manager, Continuing Education, on 1800 628 422 to discuss the perceived need. If there are enough interested people, we will do our best to fulfill your needs. We are committed to continuing education in the rural sector.
