Description: A course for those interested in promoting their small farming enterprise through the media
Cost: After NSW Government subsidy, $275 incl. GST.
May attract a FarmBis subsidy.*
Course aims: To assist farmers market and promote their enterprise using the media.
Learning outcomes:
  • Develop skills in using media to promote enterprises and attract customers
  • Identify different types of media and their needs
  • Recognise the key elements of a public relations campaign
  • Develop skills in writing media releases
  • Identifying low cost marketing tactics relevant to your business
Length: One day

  • Preparing for a media interview
  • Asking for advertorial
  • Getting your message out
  • Free and low cost marketing tactics to grow your business
Resources and method of delivery: Participants receive course training materials.
