Certificate IV in training and assessment

National accreditation code TAA40104.

A total of 14 units are now required to gain the Certificate IV. For those who do not carry out all the functions covered by the certificate level, selected units may be studied. A Statement of Attainment will be awarded for that ‘skill set’. Study the following via flexible pathways:

1. Update from BSZ40198 to TAA40104, by desk audit; fee: $1200.
2. Skills recognition for TAA40104 – available for experienced trainers who do not hold BSZ40198; fee: $2200.
3. Workshop and home study. Refer to the following course information:
• Design learning programs (skill set)
• Facilitate learning (skill set)
• Work within the Vocational Education & Training (VET) system (skill set)
• Provide assessment services (skill set)
• Elective — Facilitate group-based learning
• Elective — Provide training through instruction and demonstration of work skills
